In this course, we take the power of timestamps to the next level by combining them with 4D’s advanced features, including ORDA and calculated attributes.

The aim is twofold:

• rediscover simple, natural code writing,
• while maintaining the optimum performance offered by timestamps.

We’ll see how to enrich a dataclass with calculated attributes, manage their reading and writing, optimize searches using query functions, and exploit indexes to avoid costly sequential processing.
